This is all new to me, and I've been googling for hours looking for these answers and can't find what I'm looking for. ![]() But that wouldn't be the same as hardware calibration, correct? Is there a better method of this? Would the Calman LG Home software even be useful then? What can I can do to get the best results with the Ultrastudio while putting out clean feeds to these two monitors? Or would I be better off with plugging directly into the computer so I can do the hardware calibration and LG Home? The only method I know of to calibrate through Resolve is using Displa圜al to generate a 3D LUT and load that lut into resolve. Because I am unable to use the Asus software to hardware calibrate the ProArt monitor, since I believe the UltraStudio doesn't display windows. ![]() My next question pertains to the best way to calibrate these displays while using the UltraStudio 4k Mini. ![]() The ProArt is capable of hardware calibration through Asus Calibration software, and I know I've read that you need Calman Home for LG to hardware calibrate the LG C1, which I plan to buy.įirst question, is there a way to see the standard windows desktop/explore/internet/etc through a monitor hooked into the Ultrastudio, or will the ultrastudio only allow you to see the feed through Resolve? I think the answer is the latter, but wanted to check in case I made some mistake somewhere. I am building a color suite, and I just bought an UltraStudio 4K mini as well as an Asus ProArt 329c Reference Monitor and LG C1 Client/Reference Monitor, as well as a GUI monitor.
